Become the Firekeeper

The fire was always there. You just forgot how to tend it.

You’ve guided others through change. Now it’s your turn to step into a deeper role—not as an expert, but as a Firekeeper. A space holder. A soul witness. The one who stays when the old falls away and the new is not yet born.

Become the Firekeeper is your invitation to return to the source of true transformation. Ancient. Embodied. Unshakably present.

The Transformation Coaches and Leaders Are Searching For

Did you ever, as a coach, facilitator, or leader, sense you touched something real—something sacred—but didn’t know how to stay there? You felt the room shift, the field open, the resonance deepen. But you lacked the compass to guide it further. You wanted to support the soul's emergence, not just its symptoms. And yet, your tools stopped short.

Welcome to the Path of the Firekeeper.

This is not another method. It is not another structure, technique, or toolkit to add to your professional backpack. Become the Firekeeper is a journey into the deepest layer of transformation—the spiritual, the soulful, the liminal. The place where change is not made but invited. Where transformation is not managed but witnessed. Where leadership becomes eldership

Why Firekeeping?

Because fire is the oldest transformational force we know. It is where we gathered to listen, to dream, to grieve, to remember. To sit by the fire is to enter sacred space. To become the firekeeper is to learn the art of holding that space—within yourself, and for others.

As a firekeeper, you don’t lead from the front. You don’t fix. You don’t even guide. You tend. You become the one who stays. The one who listens. The one who waits until the soul is ready to speak.

The Problem This Course Solves

Most coaches and leaders know how to support behavior. Some know how to support emotion. But few know how to hold space for the spiritual dimension of transformation—for that which cannot be fixed, only felt. And even fewer know how to do it without losing themselves.

Become the Firekeeper offers you exactly that: a simple, powerful framework that makes spiritual space tangible, practical, and safe to hold. So you can:

  • Facilitate transformation at the soul level
  • Keep your clients in their power (and out of dependence)
  • Know what to do when the process becomes "too big"
  • Stay grounded while holding deep space
  • Be the presence people return to, not for advice, but for orientation

What You'll Learn

You will start to understand the deeper principles of Firekeeping — and unlock a new dimension of your guidance. This is not another leadership model. It’s a shift in how you see, sense, and show up — for others and for yourself. You will learn:

  • How to work with the mythological dimension of your client’s experience

  • The structure of liminality and how to lead through it

  • Firekeeping as a leadership archetype

  • How to create and sustain "campfire" spaces in your work

  • How to stay in your seat—your power—while others burn, shift, transform

  • The language of Firekeeping: how holding space itself becomes a transformative environment where the self can unfold and the soul can grow

About Us

Hélène van Engelen & Danny Vader are the founders of Firekeeper Academy and the guides of this journey into the Sinai. Together, they carry a deeply rooted body of work—woven from years of spiritual listening, professional leadership, and lived connection with the natural world.

From a young age, Danny was gifted with a rare sensitivity to the language of the land and stones. His presence opens ancient pathways—especially through the medium of stone circles—which act as bridges between human consciousness and the wisdom of nature. His ability to listen beyond the visible world has laid the foundation for the 12+1 Stone Circle Movement.

Hélène brings a profound depth of feminine insight and a sharp eye for structure, timing, and transformation. She has a gift for guiding others through liminal spaces with clarity and warmth—whether in ceremony, in conversation, or in the shared silence of a circle.

Over the past eight years, it is through their shared connection that most of what now lives within the stone circle movement has come into form.

Their collaboration is more than complementary—it is catalytic. When they met, something in nature responded. The stones began to speak more clearly. People began to remember more deeply. Their joint leadership creates a safe and vibrant field where wisdom can rise and be passed on—not only for personal insight, but for shaping the future of community, leadership, and culture.

At Firekeeper Academy, they guide individuals, teams, and organizations through processes of reconnection and renewal. Their work is an invitation: to step into a circle where ancient wisdom and modern life are not separate, but part of one breathing whole.

Together, Hélène and Danny will guide this journey in Sinai—not as instructors, but as fellow listeners, space holders, and companions in remembrance.

With Special Thanks to Garda Alexander

This journey into the Sinai is made possible through the connection and collaboration with Garda Alexander. Garda, born in Germany and based in Zurich since 1990, is an artist whose work bridges the material and the symbolic—combining colour, form, and space into a language of deep resonance.

Garda has cultivated a longstanding relationship with the Bedouins of South Sinai, where she supported the founding of Learning Centers for children and women for over 20 years.
She realized 2022 the Land-Art project «Terrya» at the bottom of the ancient Hathor temple by working on one of the sacred stones (this art intervention is actual shown at the Architecture Biennale in Venice, Palazzo Mora).

Garda will be part of this journey in April and will bring her artistic sensitivity and spatial awareness into the activation of the circle, supporting its emergence not only as a sacred structure but as a living field of meaning and connection.

We are grateful to walk this path together with Garda, whose presence quietly weaves the threads of land, lineage, and light.
